Matia Indigo Jones, MA, LMP

Matia was born in a log cabin on a high desert wildlife refuge and organic farm, east of the North Cascade Mountains. She now lives on her off-grid homestead on the windward side of Hawai’i. She has deep gratitude for these beautiful wild lands and lives in continuous dialogue with them.

She creates in a variety of media, finding inspiration in the forms and geometry of nature. In addition to making art, she also practices and teaches regenerative agriculture and offers holistic health care services. In all aspects of life, she enjoys coaxing health, beauty, and nourishment out of soul, soil, and clay alike.

For her, the inherent beauty of a piece of art is inextricably tied to how and of what the art is made. Know that there is a deeper unseen beauty and reverence that is part of each piece.
